Facilitation and Public Speaking
Robynne Nelson has over 22 years experience providing facilitation services for a range of groups, Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal agencies across Victoria and into NSW, government departments, universities and across a variety of sectors including justice, health, education, employment, governance, local government, child and family services, and human services.
She is well experienced at providing a culturally safe environment for the sharing of information, healthy debate and discussion, fine tuning ideas and new initiatives, facilitating community consultation, and the development of new and innovative services. Example: Robynne undertook extensive Aboriginal community consultation for Njernda Aboriginal Co-operative with resulted in the development of the Baroona Youth Healing Centre in Echuca. A Cross Border Regional Health Plan and Needs Analysis for Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation which resulted in the establishment of the Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service. Internal and External Consultation for the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, to enhance the development and delivery of culturally safe services for Aboriginal children, youth and to support their families.
Robynne has also been called upon to undertake a range of speaking engagements across Victoria and in Mauritius, including media and university events in Mauritius.
